The Tiny house assignment is an assignment I received from SintLucas. To design the interior for the Tiny house, we had to take our inspiration from one of the ten designers proposed. We could choose from: Le Courbusier, Marc Newson, Herzog & Meuron, Vermer Panton, Marcel Wanders, Zaha Hadid, Steven Holl, Karim Rashid, Peter Zumthor and Piet Boon.
I chose the designer Marc Newson because it is very modern but with playful shapes, which suits me very well.
Marc Newson applies the style of biomorphism in various designs. This style characterizes
itself with soft flowing lines, clarity, and the absence of sharp corners. This results in a very ergonomic design.
To arrive at my final design, I first made a mood board.

The design principles that I have used during my design process are: modern, organic and functional. I chose modern because Marc Newson's style is also very modern, so I'm going to let this style come back in the tiny house. I chose organic because Marc Newson uses rounded corners, so the design will come with playful and movable shapes. Finally, I let the design principle come to the fore in a functional way. The tiny house is of course already a small space, so it is important that this space is well divided and that there is also multifunctional furniture.
